Hey everyone I was just wondering what happened to my Sarracenia purpurea lol look!

Are you referring to the phyllodia? Purps don't put those out very often, but they're actually neat to see when they do.

Yes that’s exactly what I’m talking about but it still has an air pocket like it was going to be a pitcher

This is typical behavior of plants that are exposed to the elements. Occasionally a plant will throw out a deformed leaf usually due to odd weather patterns or even genetics. This looks more like a deformed pitcher, now that I see some tube development. See the pitcher in the picture for another example of a deformed pitcher.

OP keep an eye on the newly developing pitchers to come out correctly. If they don't then treat them for pests to be on the safe side. Image
