This thread is what inspired me to buy a ‘Wally’ from FTS. Here it is now. One of my favorites for sure.

Very nice! Sure is a great cultivar isn't it? Kind of a shame it's not an officially registered cultivar with the INCPS. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Wally is very underrated.

I’m going to have to pick me up another one. I lost mine during a recent move. It got misplaced and by the time I found it, it was all dried out and didn’t recover.

After a little bit of transplant die back Wally is starting to put out some growth. I also removed 4 emerging flower stalks and planted them in the pot with the babies in hopes of getting some strikes.

I hope everyone had a good weekend! Now time for a Wally update... Believe it or not, Wally kicked out 48 divisions this year. About 20 of them were very small. I created a mound on the pot so I could fit them all in cause I'm trying to have a sea of mouths. Seems like Wally doubles itself every year but the individual plants themselves don't get larger.

I cut off some of the emerging flower stalks and planted them in the pot in hopes of getting them to strike. All of Wally's previous flower stalks have had no success in having strikes. Maybe next season I'll flower them out.

My 4th Of July was great, and my plants just don’t mind the fireworks.
