Hello. I have recently gotten a TDS meter and I tested my tap water and it came in a 40 ppm. If I'm not mistaken, this is well below the threshold of being able to use my tap water for my plants. Am I lucky and will my water be safe? Thanks. I just want to be certain.

But check it regularly and, if using the tray method of watering, be sure to check the trays weekly until you know how that goes.

Water in trays will increase in ppm due to evaporation and your trays may need to be flushed periodically due to this.

Also your water supply can change with seasons or whatever.
