Today , I repotted my tiny vft and tiny sundews , four of them each in two separate potting containers full of dried sphagnum moss.

Pics attached

I just wanted to ask if I have done it right. How much water I need to add and if I have not compressed sphagnum enough. I know it tends to be springy (as it tends to bounce back when compressed) , but I did try to compress it as deep as possible .

Hi Dan, I am probably as new as you are so it's OK to doubt my advice. When I potted and reported VFTs I dampened my soil mixture before potting, that made a lot easier and the spaghnum absorbed water easily after the plants were set. Hope my advice helps.

What type did you use? Do you by chance a pic of the packaging? I’m about to repot mine and am thinking of using the moss from Lowe’s Image any thoughts?
