Stalling growth after trimming flower stalk?

by Artchic528 » Fri May 18, 2018 2:47 am

Is it normal for fltytraps to stall growth a bit after you've cut off the flower stem? I noticed my flytraps are a little slugglish after trimming off their flower stems.

It's cuz the plant had already spent a lot of energy just to start the flower stalk so just give it some time and it will comeback depending on health of plant it can take a while.

Oh Yeah. I vividly remember that happening to mine last Spring. They'll start back up in a little bit.

Depending on health. After a few weeks my plants started to come back. A few leaves where affected, were red before and after, the one remaining included. They are on theyr own pot from 28 november last year, artificial lights (three T8 36w, 6500k, 32500 l) and half of a hour of light in a east position. In my area, the living blocks are aranged like in Pripyat, Chernobyl.
