It has been very warm(65-75 daytime high) here for at least a month.
But it is going to freeze for 3 nights. Hopefully it will be warm again later this week. All the snow turned into rain and is gone. ☺

I thought the snow was finally gone. I'm looking forward to putting my plants out and riding my motorcycle again. Poor Jack is probably getting stir crazy.

My fly traps have been outside all Winter and it has been a very warm winter. I only brought in the Sundews and tiny fly traps seedlings when below freezing.
The fly traps have to adjust to being outside... But I believe once they acclimate to being outside, they are very resilient.

I wish I could leave them outside all winter. I live in Pennsylvania, more often than not, it's below freezing in winter. For instance, it's 11 degrees outside.

If it got any colder than just 32 degrees, I would bring the plants inside. I killed a few last winter; But I believe last Winter was really rough for here.
I have left them outside this year.
We are lucky in Southeastern NC to have a virtually constant flow of warm air from the Southwest. I think some of the flow has to do with the Gulfstream being offshore here and there is a constant flow of warm water that flows northeast.

And while fly traps live outside here, I think it's prudent to have a dormancy period.
