Is there anything easy to get that I can coat a terracotta pot in to make it safe for CPs? Some kind of acrylic sealant?

Stone sealant works fine. Get the cheap stuff at home depot or lows.

Clay pots leach minerals into the substrate. Bad for CPs. They're a lot cheaper to buy unpainted, though.

Thanks, I'll have to get some. Do you know how long it lasts? The instructions on the listing I found say it may need to be reapplied sometimes.

Are there any paints that work well, if I want to make them colorful? I like dark colors to set off the plants well, and since I'm using these for indoor nepenthes, I don't need to worry about dark pots overheating in the sun.
