Hi! so this is my first time with a VFT and I have been reading a lot about the care and everything and I love these plants, anyway, tonight around 1AM I saw those blackspots on the leafs and the thing is that around 11PM the plan didn't had them so it got me concern, I usually keep the plants in the shade from 11AM to 2PM because is when the sun hits really hard (I live in Colombia, South America btw) and I use the tray method. Maybe there the plan is receiving a lot of sunlight or something, please help and thanks.

Ya your plant could have possibly gotten a little too dry one of those days and it will result in yellowing and brownish-black spots or edges. I'm pretty sure that's what happened and nothing else is at fault here. I wouldn't worry too much about that just try to keep an eye on your water level more often.
