I just harvested seeds from my D.natalensis. The first person to guess the name of my new fish wins the seeds. You can request a letter and I will fill it in.

That’s a pretty Betta. We saw a chrome one the other day. It was so hard not to get him. We have one named Orangie. Can you guess why?

OT: I used to raise and sell betta's many years ago, well before the explosion of so many beautiful types that are currently available. Both fish above are very nice. Coi betta's are really fine and elephant ears are a blast. Recently saw a flawless full black for just a few bucks, then a few days later saw a perfect white... I do mostly Endlers these days along with peaceful nanos, so no space for the bettas at this point. But I sometimes dream

However, I'll be honest. I had to put myself into the mindset of a teenage young lady to get it. That's a name my oldest daughter would have come up with. My youngest has a midnight blue Betta with an emerald Corydora companion and named them Reese and Ling. (Riesling, a type of wine) That will tell you where her mind is focused.
Now to return my mind to the "normality" of a middle-aged Chef.
