Hi,

Just starting out with growing carnivious plants. Live in el dorado hills ca above sacramento
Just visited California carnivious plants in sabastipol. What a great store. We bought 2 sundews, 2 pitcher plants, 2 Venus fly traps and one butterwort. Some are in dormancy.
They will be indoors so I have light setups. For dormancy and year around.

Welcome to the forums... California is a nice climate for plants. You can probably grow your vfts and Sarracenia outside year round. And I am hosting a plant giveaway, feel free to sign up for a chance to add another plant to your collection. It's in the chit chat forum... :D

Welcome to the world of CPs. I see you've been taken captive by these little beauties with a bite. It happens...
I'm a bit envious that you've been to CC. It's on my list for 2019. Here are some of my plants. I love my VFTs, Serracenias and Drosera but am obsessed with my Nepenthes.

Please post some pics and have fun with the plants and the journey.
