My King Henry x OP seedlings are doing absolutely amazing and seem to be growing fast! I had a 100% sucess germination rate with these 10 seeds! I’m super happy to see what new variations they might have! When they are more mature, I still won’t call them a certain cultivar b/c I know that it’s not an exact one! Thanks to KK! Side note: should I re pot them to get the algae growth off the media?
10/10 seedlings! 1st one germinated on Nov. 7th, only a couple weeks after sowing!

Awesome!!! Congrats. Those are looking great!!! I’m glad they germinated and are growing for you. Great job.

I wouldn’t worry about the algae/Cyanobacteria. It won’t hurt them since they are that big already. You could always put a top dressing of pure sand on the soil and that will knock it out pretty well.

Okay, I didn’t know if it would hurt them or not since they were small but the sand on the soil is smart!Thank you again!

Thank you! And also, I’m quite surprised that they lasted this long! Last year I tried and only 1 survived to the size they are now! Just gotta keep trying! :D

Hahaha  thank you! I give them lots of light with my one plant light and I keep them humid and warm. I will soon need to start to acclimate them to less humidity but I’ll wait just a little longer! This is only my 2nd time trying to grow Venus flytraps from seed! :D
