Hi, i'm new here :D hope to seek some advise from the experts.

Roughly a week ago, I just bought two species of sundew from the market, I believe it was "Drosera capensis" and "Drosera aliciae" (please correct me if i've identified them wrongly). For the Drosera Aliciae some of the leaves has turn dark red after I put it beside the window where it can receive 2-3hours of morning sunlight and I am giving them an artificial lighting for 10hours. may I know the reason why the leaves turning red is it because of sunburn or other reason? The plant are still producing sticky Dew and new leaves are emerging from the plant.

And this is the Cape sundew. It was kept at the same spot as the Alice sundew.

Hey, welcome to the forum!

To answer your question, having red leaves is completely normal for a sundew. It just means their getting a good amount of sun. Your plants look good for the most part but I think that your Drosera capensis could use a little more sun, it just seems to be lacking a good amount of coloration and dew.
