My vft never completely digest insects, it starts going brown before opening again and then gows completely brown. Why is this happening?

It could be that the trap made it's final catch. Traps don't last forever. Also, how are you growing the plant?

The trap in the forefront of the picture looks like it may have not sealed properly when digesting, maybe a part of the bug was sticking out?

Overall, your plant looks healthy. Things like improper lighting, overfeeding, or dormancy could be the issue if it never digests properly.

Knowing your conditions (inside/outside/lighting cycle/location/temps/type of water/soil/type of insect being fed, etc.) can help with diagnosis.

South facing window, distilled water and peat moss. I feed 1 time per month. I gave it a spider and im sure the trap closed good. But this always happens, after 5-10 days the trap starts dieing before it opens

Growing it in the netherlands there has not been a lot of sun last 2 weeks but tried when there was good sun and than this also happened.

But when it eats like this, does it count as eating?

Sunlight is far more important than feeding. Especially in the growing season.

That plant looks like it could use a lot more light. Sunlight filtered through a window is not near enough light for these plants. The soil also looks a little on the dry side. It should be moist at all times.

No Probly not it takes about a week for them to digest an insect. When it starts to turn black the next day after trapping an insect it should have released the digestive fluids however I would think it won't have enough time to absorb the nutrients before the trap dies. It's possible it absorbs a tiny amount ,but I wouldn't count that as a feeding.
