I'm just curious to know if one can tell the difference between a burn Venus Fly Trap and one that is dormant?

Does my plant look a little yellow? Also, what do you do when it's the rainy season?

A burnt flytrap will look like when someone thinks roasting marshmallows on a fire is just by letting them catch on fire and blowing it out versus a dormant plant that has no physical characteristics to tell a difference. Your plant looks healthy I feel like you already knew the difference. The plants in the wild take out their umbrellas to prepare for a rain storm.
