Finally received my D. magnifica.
Potted it up in 7:1 perlite, peat moss
Distilled water
And now it’s under the full spectrum led light I got from Home Depot (about 5” away from the light)
Hopefully it recovers shipping shock :)

Hopefully I haven’t used up my patience on my regia seedlings lol but I totally agree with you. I’ll leave it be and keep it under 14 hours of light (I’m not sure whether it was grown outdoor or indoor) so hopefully it will survive.

It looks like it was grown under adequate light.
Notice how Red the tentacles are colored up.
Like John said, be patient and don't panic at leaves crashing.
Keep your eyes on the new growth.
That says how the plant is doing.

That’s a very good point. I’ll keep a close eye on the growth point. Will it start to dew up again on the older leaves or just on the new ones it will eventually grow?

It looks like this plant was very well grown.
Congrats on that.
I would bet that the old tentacles will Booger Up in about 1 week, especially if you dome or bag your pot to help the acclimatization process.

Thanks! And thank you so much for the advice. It really does give me a peace of mind knowing that such knowledgeable people such as yourself are here on this amazing forum! I really do appreciate all that everyone does!

I’ll place a bag over it so the humidity can help it acclimate as you suggested and keep an eye on the growth point

I used a freit led bulb but had to upgrade since my small collection is growing. Yesterday I put together a 2ft t8 (two bulb) led light. It puts out 6500k and 1300 lumens per bulb. It’s hooked up to a timer for 13 hours.

Forgot a picture of the light.

Just wanted to give a quick update:
The magnifica is doing very well, it’s got 2-3 new leaves unfurling and producing dewy tentacles :)
Will post pics later (been busy studying)

Thanks everyone that gave me suggestions and pointed me in the right direction!

That's so cool TKay. Definitely keep us updated, there are a lot of us that enjoy seeing the successes of others. (And learning vicariously so we don't kill our own cp babies)

Hope it does okay for you, it did fine for me. Good luck!
It’s doing fantastic! There’s about 4 more shoots coming out. I’ll be taking some pics of it later today :)
