Tap Water-360
Water comes from 2 sources, Wells and Virgin River Gorge.

Water thru Kitchen tap with "PUR" water filter- 328

Kitchen water thru PUR, then filtered thru "Zero Water"-000

Rainwater unavailable at this time, we have had 2 days of rain in 6 months and at that time I didn't have the ZeroWater system or TDS meter.

After being in this hobby for ages, I finally got around to getting a TDS meter.

I’m in Austin, TX. My tap water tested at 135ppm (which is almost exactly what the water quality report said it should be) and the distilled water I (mostly) water with tested at 0ppm.

No rainwater sample because it hasn’t rained in a while.

Tap - 226-298
RO Buddy RODI -
After RO - 3-4
After DI - 0-1

All measurements taken by RO Buddy inline 3 source meter - Tap, post RO membrane, post DI resin bed.

Happy growing!

Tap water = 122 ppm (my sister's tap water 3 miles away = 175 ppm)

Rain water = between 2 and 6 ppm (I collect rainwater in the open, away from roof and tree runoff.)

Nota bene: The small amount of rainwater we got from Hurricane Michael (nothing like in the panhandle where it hit) measured 16 ppm. I guess it picked a little seawater up from the gulf and dropped it on us.

Tap water -- 130ppm

Rain water -- 18ppm
rain water is collected in large pans
away from trees, roofs, or other
runoffs. Occasional debris made up
airborne seeds and pollen is filtered
out through a large paper coffee filter.
Rain water - 2ppm
rain water collected from roof
downspout during heavy downpour after
first half hour of rain cleaned the roof,
gutters, and downspouts.

TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) of several water sources

AC Condenser, interior pipe drainage I recently rerouted - 66 (Unit is ten years old, suspect it's mostly metal deposits but higher than I hoped for.)
If it had passed would have been my main source for the CPS instead of buying distilled or making it.

Tapwater -- 217 (enough to kill a Venus Flytrap in a few weeks)
The TDS is the ZEROWATER model that came with the filter pitcher I bought at Walmart, and ironically the website showed it's level for my zip at 176. LIES!

Filtered water through Electrolux Fridge - 204 (My wife didn't want to know, glad I didn't tell her! LOL)

Collected Rainwater -- None available right now, reserves used on other garden plants, so TBA at a later time.

I may investigate further doing the DIY distilled, if the habit grows which I suspect it will.
