never tried it, have used maxsea which is a kelp/seaweed based fertiliizer might check the data contents online of the maxsea 16-16-16 compared to what you have there.

perhaps test it on a plant or two for six months and see how it goes

We dont have max sea brand here in the Philippines. But saw on the back 600ppm will try in some plants first. Will also be using it for orchids.

It doesn't seem like it would be as good as MaxSea. The NPK is 0.5% / 1% / 16% ... so heavy potassium which is traditionally used to help flowers/fruits/..sometimes roots, so I don't think it would give your plants much of a boost in leaf growth or chlorophyll like a higher nitrogen source, if that's what you're expecting.
