I don't know if my Venus flytrap will push through. I would sometimes propagate my plants by tearing off old rhizome parts, which have actually been quite successful for me. However, this time around, my main plant got teared in half. The worst thing is that the point in which the new growth comes from got teared off and is now just joined to the old leaves with no roots. its already soft and soggy to touch. The other half has got all the roots but only one trap and now missing its growth centre. I know I shouldn't have been fiddling with it and hugely regret it, but will my plant be okay? I assume if it makes a recovery at most, it will start as a baby plant and lose its adult size and large traps it previously had. Is this true? Your opinions on this are much appreciated. Thanks
