Hi!
A few days ago I bought my first carnivorous plant in a shopping mall, where it came in a mini-greenhouse container to call it somehow.
The fact is that when I took it out of the container I found that the pot contained in its turn another, even smaller pot, from which two long roots hung:
As you can see, if I leave a few cm of water in the outer pot, then the long root will be completely submerged. And if I put a plate under the inner pot, I will crush and submerge the root as well.
What do you advise me?
Transplant it into a new, larger pot where the root does not protrude and I can put the dish with water?
Is it risky to transplant it now that it has just arrived and hasn't yet acclimated to the Sun/heat?
Here in Spain the temps are 30C°~, and 80% humidity.
I am very lost, so I would greatly appreciate your guidance...
