So I got this 'red piranha' from California carnivores maybe two or so months ago, at first it was growing just fine, beautiful traps that grew very fast, my most prized flytrap in my collection really.
Recently though I've noticed that all of the new traps have been coming up a bit wonky, it started with the leaves of the trap being flipped weird, or one side being longer than the other as it grew, but then I started noticing that the rims of the traps are starting to turn black, and theres some suspicious black dots on many of them, and on the newest growth what looks to be almost like bug bites? Also, every single one of these deformed traps has a small split in it's teeth upon opening, almost like its stretching itself or opening prematurely.
I've already ordered some bayer and avid miticide, as I know this is the time of year for mites, but I wanted to get a second opinion

Watered with distilled and occasionally rainwater, both with the tray method and top watering though I let the soil dry slightly and water again in the morning. Full sun outdoors, sometimes brought inside at night or when it gets too hot.
Thank you for any help you guys can provide!
