The young SD Kronos I bought in January 2018 had to be transplanted months ago because it grew too large for the 3 inch wide Fly Trap Store cup. It has now filled up its 7.1 inch wide planter pot, and it is putting up 2 new traps each day!
I feed every new trap with juicy meat balls handmade from rehydrated blood worms. I make the meatballs so large that it takes the trap 4 weeks to digest them and re-open. Feeding it this much helps it grow faster.
Since the plant is so wide and there are many layers of traps shading each other, I am growing under two T5HO lights and two LED strips. I also have the sides and ground of the grow area walled with reflective mylar to illuminate the sides and undersides of the plant.
