The only ling you have to worry about with peat is if it has fertilizer in it. If its just straight peat you're good. Reed the bag closely and check for fertilizer.

This is the product, looks to be 100% peat.
Hopefully

looks to have fertilizer in it. All natural but fertilizer nun the less. Look at the primary ingredients.

Ahh, I saw others on the fourms use this.
Seems so hard to find some true all natrual peat moss.

What about this?

Were you referring to the light-blue bars on the right side of the screen? Those are filters: select one of those ingredients and you'll be shown products that contain them.

I was. Didn't know that they where filters. If its 100% peat your good to go.

And it seems worth putting in a plug for the Flytrap Store's peat/perlite/sand mix for anyone reading this that wants "approved" media for their fly traps.

Ouch my wallet hurts seeing that price, but at least you know it's safe.

Just use New Zealand Long Fibered Sphagnum Moss.

Super easy to use, no worries about fertilizers, makes almost zero mess, no mixing, no rinsing, no splatter on the plants after a rain and the consensus is the plants just grow better in it all around.
Mistakes were made
