There are several types. But seems really there are 3.
This is number 1.
The first picture is totally aquatic and even submerged in water at times. The second picture is semi-aquatic growing on higher ground. It seems to be the same moss!? It seems to be all green but I have seen some hints of red

This is my favorite. It makes fluffy pom poms. And is just generally fluffy.
