I ordered a nepenthes diatas from Predatory Plants and was wondering has anybody had one and willing to share some advice and tips for it. I know it like highland condition and high humidity but any other advice for this species.

I'm growing one that I got from someone in this forum (sorry I forgot your name).

It's a standard Nep that grows slowly but steadily as long as you can give it cool temps and high humidity, and focus on cool temps since Diatas is an ultra highlander.

Otherwise, just be patient and let it do its thing

Definitely want to keep this one as cool as possible. Night temps well into the 50s is ideal. In my experience night temps above 60 and it will just sit there and pout.

Good luck,

Here's what mine looks like after about 3 or 4 months of pouting and another 3 or 4 months of proper night time temps. Still has a ways to go to get back to how it looked when it was growing happily on an open shelf in Northern California. Nights there were not much below 60 but extended nights here not much OVER 60 really set it back. It just parked mid pitcher. No growth at all for months. As soon as it had about a week of nights in the mid 50s it resumed the paused pitcher and has been steadily improving since. Anyhow, here it is.
