On 9/11/2016, I received a small typical Cephalotus from a giveaway sponsored by Nauz.
This is my first Ceph since I was a kid, 500 years ago.
I have succeeded in keeping it alive and happy.
It is now mature and sending up a flower scape for the first time.
This is a Typical, but it has colored up nicely under LED lighting.
There may be a Ceph seed giveaway in the near future and Ceph seeds going into our FTC Seed Bank.

Thanks again to Nauz!

Good growing,
Mike

It grows in my basement.
Temps range from mid 80s during Summer to upper 40s on Winter nights.
He's in an uncovered 10 gallon aquarium, humidity is 50 - 90 percent.
MarsHydro 300 is 16 inches above plant.
Photoperiod is controlled by Raspberry Pi Zero-W running Sunwait, lights turn on at local civil dawn, off at local civil dusk.
I keep about 1/4 inch distilled water in the bottom for tray watering.
The plant grows in a 4 1/2 square by 5 inch deep pot with a 50/50 Peat/Perlite mix.
In short, nothing fancy, just plain basic CP conditions.

Good growing,
Mike

If so I just started getting growth on mine.
Yes, the pitcher from my Ceph giveaway came from this plant.
With good lighting, it should color up nicely and give you a plant you can show off proudly.

Good growing,
Mike
