Hiya!
I'm JoJo, though that's probably pretty evident from the username! I'm in the UK, just outside Portsmouth.
I just recently bought my first venus fly trap - having been wanting one for a few years but being weary about buying one online.
I happened to be at a flower show last weekend where a there were carnivorous plants for sale from an award winning grower, though only two VFT left! So I couldn't not get one!
He is now on a WSW facing windowsill (it's an opening bay window, so he gets decent, unfiltered sunlight during the day).
He is pretty small at the moment but, despite a couple of knocks getting him home, seems pretty healthy. I've been reading up on the growing and care tips on the website and I'm looking forward to seeing him flourish and grow
Any tips/ advice welcome, especially about the slightly damaged and folded traps!
Thanks
