Hello, I can't seem to find anything saying if one is better than the other. How do you water?

I think k a lot of people use the tray method for dews and the like that appreciate wetter conditions and top water when needed for those that like to dry a bit between waterings.

I keep my bogs filled and top water now and then to flush out any minerals/debris that builds up over time.
