I'm a first-time pitcher owner (I bought the plant from a local garden centre along with a sundew - the place had no idea how to care for carnivorous plants judging by their conditions and I've had the plant for about a week, so I don't expect it to be in perfect health just yet) and noticed a few days ago that one of the pitchers had shut. I've not seen this before, and a long Google session brought up no explanations. It's since opened again, but it's still fairly baffling! That may have been the pitcher that I fed (I fed one of them a betta fish pellet, which I already use for my fly trap), so I'm not sure if it's a feeding mechanism for this variety? Either way, advice would be useful!
