You need to check the rhiozome. If it's a firm and white, then yes it'll be no problems to save that. If it's tan/brown and mushy, scrap it and cut your losses.

Edit, sorry somehow I missed the rhiozome comment.

Sounds good. I’ll leave it outside and see what happens. I’ll post an “after” picture if it actually comes back :)

Usually if the rhizome is firm and white (which you say it is) then it'll be able to bounce back no problem. Just keep it in normal growing conditions and update if it grows new leaves :D
