I had someone want to buy Plants from me a while back and he contacted me through a PM. I don't have that information but it ask for my email address so we can talk better. I gave him the email address. The next conversation it wanted my telephone number so he could talk more directly to me and I responded with no. Anything we do we can do through the forum PMs. I thought about it a bit and responded; I don't think you want to do anything but steal my personal information. Of course it's response was no I want to trade. I wrote it off as nonsense but today some jerk tried to sign in to my Yahoo account from Saudi Arabia and fortunately Yahoo noted it was suspicious and blocked it, alerted me and I changed my password.
FYI if anyone is trying to get your email and phone number, all the apps we use are not secure and please be careful giving out your personal information, especially if the person has only been signed up on FTC for a few days. Thanks for reading.
