I have potted some seeds of VFT and in about 23 days I saw this little thing peeping out is it the VFT or just grass ? And how does a baby VFT look like ?Image

Here is a good picture of a baby flytrap. The cotyledons will come out first. The pointy leaves. Then traps will start to grow.

Thank you, thats why i posted in forum like i did in chat because i needed a picture of it. How much does it take to see a small plant just like that ?

That plant is about 2 weeks old I guess. It usually takes around 3 weeks for germination for me.

Cool, i will post updates when i see some movement. What about stretch and seal on top of the pot ? What do you think ? Is it better ? So it will be more moist.

There’s many ways to do it but yes it will help or you can put the in a ziplock bag.

So guys, i have made some stretch and seal on the pot. How long do i have to leave it like that ? Its been 1 day now. I watered it before doing it.Image
