Hello, I am new to this forum but have been a few times as a reference for various carnivorous plant questions. I currently have a young N. ventricosa that I bought last November. It had no pitchers at that time, and since then I have repotted it. It is in a soil mix of peat moss, perlite and sphagnum moss. I keep the soil damp to wet, and a few months ago began fertilizing with 50% diluted black coffee and water once a month. It seems to have a growth spurt after each dose. For months it sat in a window that got sun for about 4 hours per day but recently weather here in Eastern NC has been very nice 65-85 day time and lows to 55 at night. Since putting it outside during nice days it has thrown off numerous new larger leaves and it began to pitcher, growing by the day. In the last week however it has begun to yellow in the newer growth. The plant still appears vigorous and healthy showing no signs of slowing down but the color has me worried. I'm thinking it may have something to do with the increase in sun it has been getting outside but I don't know. Any confirmation that this is normal or otherwise would be very helpful. Thanks!

Great, thanks for the responses. As to the plant being shallow in the pot, in December I was moving and a friend of mine dropped the plant spilling out a lot of the growing medium. I didn't have any more at the time to I had to plant it as you see it now. Its growth about stopped for two months before resuming. It doesn't seem to mind now though!
