So i thought my pitcher had died for sure, i was about to throw it out when i noticed a tiny pitcher plant growing at the base! now i don't know what to do with it! how do i repot this beauty? does it need special care? do i cut it from the main plant and place it in soil or does it need to stay connected to the main plant? please help! i want this tough little guy to survive!

Leave it until it grows juvenile pitchers! It needs to get nutrients from the mother plant for a while! Once it gets to a nice size I’d say maybe 6 inches in diameter (leaf tip to leaf tip) then you can take a nice sterile pair of snips and snip it off the mother plant then pot it up and it should have a good chance of growing roots.
