Hi I recently moved my tropical pitcher plants to a windowsill so that it could get more sunlight. It's getting about 5 hours of sun each day right now. However I've noticed that the growth tip on the mother tip has gone a bit black, along with the leaves around it and some leaves on the basal plants. Does anyone know why this is happening? Is my plant dying? :( Please help!!!

I think your growth tips are turning black because they are rotting. How much times are you misting your nepenthes everyday? if you mist it 3 times a day that can cause mold on the plant. Did you recently buy your nepenthes. If so that means your plant is going into shock mode which means it's getting used to the new environment so it causes a bit of damage on the leaves. Don't worry that's totally normal for new nepenthes that's happened to me to a lot whenever I buy new nepenthes.

It looks to me like you are keeping the soil way too wet because I can see algae growing all over it. Also do you keep it sitting in water at all times? Neps like to have the soil moist at all times but not sopping wet. Get it out of the tray of water. It is probably rotting from too much water.
