Hi guys,im new in growing vft.Recently i plant my vft seeds that i ordered online.After a few days some kind of grass grow on my peat moss.Anyone can tell me what is this and should i remove it?

id say just pull out that grass and toss it. I'm not sure those are venus fly trap seeds either. fly trap seeds are not round like that. that looks like hemp seeds. imho fly trap store - this site - has viable venus fly trap seeds at fair prices. and you can even buy a whole pot of baby fly traps and its easier than starting from seeds.

i bought the see from my local online shopping website,here is a close up pic of the seeds for your inspection.So what can i do about it?Or should i wait a while and see whether the seeds are vft or not?And my last question,do flytrapcare do international shiping for the seeds or vft?

yeah I'm gonna say those are not fly trap seeds. unfortunately this is a common problem for folks when not purchasing from a private grower or a reputable nursery that sells carnivorous plants

check out the seeds in the center picture. are those coffee beans? you can search venus fly trap seeds for sale and find these at Walmart by the jonsteen company. :roll:

No, they will become unhealthy and eventually die without a dormancy. In the tropics, a refrigerator can be used for dormancy.

Well thanks guys for your assistance,i will let u guys know what it is after the seeds are germinated.And the little grass are grow from the sphagnum moss not from the seeds.
