Do you tend to move yours around depending on weather?
For the most part they stay outside, but if they start showing signs of stress they get brought in an enclosed patio until they recover. Wally seems to be the only one of my flytraps that just doesn't mind the heat or even cold. All the others get burned or wilt back, but it just keeps on growing.
Ugh! Well I'll definitely have to order one of those next spring. It looks incredible!

Keep up the great growing!
Thanks! I would definitely recommend this cultivar. I'm excited to see how many divisions I get next year!

Really, that's spectacular! I wonder if Winter isn't the best time to ship a plant. Seems like if they're dormant, it would be less of a shock than when they are fully active. The only prob being he's sold out by then. Yeah, I'm definitely going to keep my eye out for those.

Greetings from Phoenix Arizona!

Your plant is gorgeous! Wally is probably my newest favorite in my collection!

Mine is acclimating quite well! especially now that it is not SO hot!

Hello, thank you for the compliment and for sharing yours! Wally has certainly earned its place as my #1 pick amongst my flytraps. I was really surprised at how well it performed, compared to my others throughout the year.

It seems to have optimal growth at a wider range of temperatures than the others. It was my only flytrap not to have any dieback during dormancy, and the heat of summer only intensified the red and made it clump up. Hopefully this will continue in the future!

Looks amazing! I really feel this cultivar deserves more attention. I have yet to see a Wally that I have not been impressed by. FTS really does a great job at caring for their plants and their customers. Thanks for sharing!

Sorry it's taken so long for an update, I'm well past due for one! My traps have been outside during these past few chilly nights and are starting to show signs of dormancy. Wally has gone beyond my expectations this season and I have to admit it's become my favorite cultivar!

Dormancy update. It's been 2 years today since I received this plant and boy has it grown! The cup that it is in is actually larger than the FTS cups. Wishing everyone a safe and wonderful holiday!

Your Wally is beautiful and clearly sleepy at the moment. :) I agree with everything you've said, Wally seems extremely cold tolerant relative to other VFTs and clumps like crazy. I think mine at least tripled in size in a year (despite having a huge die-back due to going dry once - oops).

Its now time to repot them now, because they had so many plants in a single pot.

Counted a total of 22 divisions! 16 went into the big pot and 6 of the really tiny ones went into a cup. Got off late with repotting this year.
