The one with petiole and oval/roundish leaf looks like D. capillaris.

The one with wedge shaped leaves looks like D. brevifolia.

But my eyes are old, tired, and weak. I could easily be mistaken.

Good growing,
Mike

I agree. First pic is capillaris and last is brevifolia. The middle pic could be either or both. Kinda blurry for a definite answer.

The d. cappilaris gets much more red than that pic but the d. Brevida is pretty accurate. The middle and last pics are the same type. Thanks yall

Found 2 more in same area. First I believe is a d. Rotundifolia and I don't have pics of the 2nd, which I believe is a Intermedia. The Intermedia must be more sensitive to cold.

it is the one I was saying is more red. The Rotundifolia are closer to the red in the Brevifolia within this group. The Capillaris are more red/orange. The Intermedia is dead right now. 12-20-17 This is a zoom of the 2nd photo in the first post.

I found this picture on the internet and I believe this is exactly the d. intermedia that is in nc.
