Ok 3 days ago he was fine pretty color, now looks strange. Do pitchers change color? Because dying pitchers wilt and close.

Some pitchers last longer than others. I've had some pitchers stay small and only last a few days to a week and die off while other pitchers on the same plant can grow big and last for months. Sometimes overfeeding individual pitchers will cause them to die off sooner than later as well. If my Nepenthes dries out a little too much it will also cause pitchers to die off. It's all normal stuff. If the rest of your plant looks healthy then don't sweat it.

The regular dying off of older pitchers. Starts near the peristome and progresses from there.

isn't the two color with the more red on top just what x ventratas do?

edit: nevermind I looked at the photos I see the blackening now, looks like my pitchers that die off
