I agree, light could cause all the problems you're describing. Mine are happy in a south/southeast facing window. Good luck!

UPDATE

Ok folks, for anyone who is still interested. Based on recommendations in this thread, I've increased the level of light my little drosora gets. Previously I had my grow light about 12 inches above my plant, now the light is directly above the plant about 4 inches. I thought I would wait a few weeks and see if any new growth begins to form brown tips.

On one hand the plant is regularly putting out new growth. Unfortunately on the other hand I am still getting new growth with tips beginning to turn :-(

1:1:1 Long-fibered sphagnum , perlite, sand substrate.
24 w T5 sitting on a sunny windowsill
Distilled H2O

I wonder if maybe I should be using a different "T" type light...

My next step will be to re-pot Ursula (proudly named by my wife I might add). Though the pot I'm using appears to be completely glazed, there still might be something seeping through somehow. I can't think of anything else at this point
