These plants were started from a leaf cutting from my mother plant. You can see them just starting to grow in the first picture. That picture was taken May 30th. I let them grow a couple more weeks in the water and then transferred 3 of them outside in a pot of LFS. They have been gorging themselves on all kinds of bugs out there. Today one of them has rewarded me with a beautiful flower and one other is in the process of putting up a flower stalk as well. Not too bad for only being 5 1/5 months old. I sure wish these were self-fertile so I could get some seeds.

Sweet! Everyone loves CP clones!

Are all your water cultures done under lights? Have you ever tried with just leaving them outside during the warmer months?

Ive never tried outside. I would think the sun is a little too hot where I am. They would cook in the jar. I just leave the jar sitting somewhere on my indoor grow rack getting the same amount of light as the parent plant.

Thanks for the swift response!

I might have to try outdoor when spring/ summer comes. I'm in California, not too far from the coast so the heat isn't too bad.

I really want to get into growing under lights for some of my plants, still more research needs to be done. In time!

Well if you want to go cheap you can just buy some T8 shop lights from Home Depot or Lowe’s and use 6500k bulbs. That’s all I have on my main rack and they work just fine. I have 4 bulbs on each level. Two 2 bulb fixtures.

Yeah this was my first flower for these so I wanted to see how they looked but I’ll probably do that in the future.
