My Drosera Capensis "Alba" is flowering, and I hear that they produce seed like crazy. I was wondering if I would be able to sow the seed on live sphagnum moss and keep it growing on it. I have about 1 gallon of really plump green live sphagnum and would like to put it to use!

Would live sphagnum be too wet of a media? Anything helps!

Trying to grow sundews in live sphag is going to be difficult. The capensis grow pretty slowly and although sphag grows slowly too, it will outgrow your seedlings. They will get buried by the moss. You will constantly have to trim the moss so the seedlings can survive. It will be much easier to put them on dead sphag or a peat/perlite soil.
