Was doing my weekly seedling photo shoot and noticed some saw teeth in the neighbourhood! This is the first baby I've had that's shown teeth genetics (that I'm 100% sure are different from normal)!
I'm really excited now to see if more traits will begin manifesting in my other flytrap seedlings! So far this one only has one special trap, but it's something and I'm looking forward to seeing more! Also some updates on the other babies with genetics they've shown since they first started growing: ^This one has been growing beautifully lately. Out of all the seedlings this one had the least mold problems (my fault oops) and it's been producing larger and larger traps too- a really healthy little guy! At first I thought the red babies had maybe inherited "Clayton's Red Sunset" but lately and as they've aged they've gotten a lot darker and now look more like "Akai Ryuu" or something similar.
Now for this little baby, I have NO CLUE what it's inherited. Since it's first trap it's made super tiny (the average trap size at its age is around 3-4 millimetres. It's traps are 2 millimetres.) traps. But I've never heard of a cultivar with those traits before?? Well, either way we'll see how it turns out!
And last but not least, some random typicals, starting with one of my favourite big boy traps (it's got large traps, lol):
