So I was on eBay searching for a laminar flow hood, and I found multiple of the vertical models for less than $610 with free shipping. I know that there's the maxim you get what you pay for, but I want your take on this model...other than the working area is less than 25" in front.

I wish I could give some input, but unfortunately, it was so long ago when I was doing the research on getting a flow hood, I don't remember the plusses and minuses of the two types.

I think I vaguely remember that contamination was more common with the vertical models, but don't recall for sure.
