Thanks. That looks amazing. As i glanced passed the new posts i though it was a stick. I like mantis. If i ever build a green house i want to keep a few of them inside it.

Yep, it's a mantis. In the first picture you can zoom in and see the mantis head and folded mantis arms.

Sorry for bumping this up, but I think I just found out the ID of this thing while reading Wikipedia's List of Largest Organisms.

I think it is a Toxodera denticulata because the one you showed looks similar to the one I found on google.
