I use 1 to 1 ration of sphagnum moss and perlite in plastic pot is this correct ? How would you reccomend watering , tray or pour water in top every couple days ?

I didn't shred or blend the long fiber sphagnum moss is this gonna be okay ?

I used that video above and it worked great so far. I am planning on using the tray method and filling it w water.
