Where is the best place to buy a start-up culture? I am hesitant to buy from ebay. I thought maybe someone here might be interested in selling some.

I agree with tannerm, I also brought my live sphagnum moss for that seller

I'm a G and have like 8 different sellers. Haha! The guy in Florida will hook you up though. Also Meadowview Biological is great. I got hitchiker sundew from them!

I was going to post the same question. Thanks for doing it for me haha. I have some dried LFS I'm attempting the "revive" people have talked about. But I dont have a lot of hope haha.

It can be done I've done it twice. It will take at least a year to start growing.

I can attest to Petroleum's sphagnum. Here is mines growing from the strands I got in his giveaway!

Don't give up. I have a bunch of the LFSM I bought from the FTS and it always starts sprouting new growth after about 3 months. As long as it stays wet it comes to life all the time for me.

That a good to hear. I can probably wait 3 months but I'm not sure I will wait a year haha I'll probably just buy a live culture if nothings happening in a few months. $9 for a quart shipped seems really good.
