Mhmm, another moss rant k guess.

With all other moss, the new growth lives, and the underneath slowly dies.

my "red moss' is growing green, but the odd thing is, the bottom layer has not died, none, it is blood red, what do you guys think?

Anyone make a connection as to hey its growing green, yet Thr underneath is vibrant as hell?

It's not breaking down at all, so this will stay the same for now, but why does it stay red and the top new grows green?
I've had this for bout 3 months almost now.

The coloring is my focus atm

So it was red when you bought it but new growth is green? Is it possible you arent giving it enough light? Or the new growth hasnt matured fully?? Maybe it takes longer to die off than regular species.... im just shooting in the dark but it has me very curious.
