Here's my growlist:

1 typical green VFT
1 akai ryu

This is embarrassing!!!
But I also have others like:

1 nepenthes hookeriana
1 nepenthes bicalcarata
1 nepenthes rajah
1 nepenthes ampullaria 'Red Speckle'
1 nepethes truncata
1 nepenthes 'Gentle' (maxima x fusca)

1 cephalotus follicularis

1 drosera spathulata

1 sarracenia flava
1 sarracenia purpurea

Currently tryin to grow VFTs through leaf cuttings.....so far no results yet....I also have drosera binata seeds germinating and nepenthes miranda cutting rooting

There's nothing embarrassing about your grow list. We all started with one plant at some point and it wasn't all that long ago that I was there!

it's not. i only have 1 plant of venus fly trap.

G'day Edward, you are lucky to be living in Malaysia - you have good access to many varieties of Nepenthes and an excellent climate for growing them. I started off with just one flytrap (after killing several Nepenthes and Sarracenia) and my collection grew rapidly as I bought selections of plants from Ebay.

Well, linton, you should try growing some HL nepenthes like nep. khasiana. since australia is quite a cool country...

I live in Southern Australia - the nights in Winter can get below 0 degrees C with heavy frost and the days in Summer can go to 46 degrees C with as little as 10% humidity - It doesn't happen very often, but when it does the plants hate it.

If I could get my hands on a glasshouse, I'd almost be tempted to try Nepenthes again.

I got an akai ryu, finally! Yippeeeeee!!!!

Well, Linton, if you want to try nepenthes again in that area of yours, it would be good to have a heater. Brrrr....your area sure is cold.

Congratulations on your new Akai Ryu!

For me, it has been a very difficult cultivar to grow. Hopefully, you will have better luck than me.
