I snapped a pic of my cobra lily and noticed that there is new growth!

If you take a close look, there are a couple of drosera in there! Don't think they're D. Capensis or D.Indica because I keep those on a lower level than the Cobra Lily. My guess is that they are Drosera Rotundifolia or one of its hybrids.

(IronJaws is in California)

I'm in SE Wisconsin, my Darlingtonia went thru two mild frosts but kept on shoving up new growth irregardless. I think it loves chilly weather.

We live in the native habitat for D. californica and it gets quite cold in the fall and winter here. Frosts and freezes are quite common where they grow. They certainly are adapted well to dealing with cold!

I thought that it was too cold as well, which is why I was surprised to see stolon growth! I thought it was dormant.

This is a great plant and I'm happy that it's native to california so I can grow it outdoors year round.
