That was like 10 years ago though before BE lost almost all their clones.

For real? Dang... do you know when it entered cultivation? Seems harder to get than Jamban, and that was 2006.

I don't think the price so much has to do with whether or not they are new to cultivation, but because there are less clones available in cultivation. N. leonardoi, attenboroughii, and palawanensis are all relatively new to cultivation and those cost less than 100 when small.
